Giving Back

In order to receive from the Universe, you need to give freely. There are different ways of giving back. You can give money to your favourite charity. You can donate to the community. You can give of your self with assisting others. There is so much going on in your area, that it is easy to connect with a group that really needs your assistance. There is so much work to be done and with many hands than the work is lighter. So ask around and find out how you can get involved. It is a wonderful feeling when you can share what you have with others!

Most people have the "me attitude" and figure, I earned it why should I share it but we need to think outside the box and think of others. Its amazing with the expression. "What goes around comes around". So if you have a generous spirit than the Universe will be generous with you, giving you freely as you gave freely. What you mirror is what it mirrors!

You never know when you could be standing in the opposite place and you wish you had assistance.

Even just making donations with the Cancer Society. Each and everyone of us has been someone we have known that has been taken with cancer. They are trying so hard to find the cure to Cancer. I have personally be touched by having my mom taking from Me and my family January 20, 2008 with Lung Cancer. My heart broke that day and I have been mending it with giving back to the Cancer Society.

I was involved for the first time June 2008 and did the Relay of Life and raised over $1000.00 with the assistance of all my friends. I had no idea I could raise this and I am proud I was able to be a part of this night. It was an amazing night and I learned a lot from participating.

I am also in the Relay for Life in Belleville June 19, 2009 with my team from POWE - Power of Women Exchange.

Please give back and make a donation to the Cancer Society. Every little bit will get us that much closer to elimating Cancer forever.

My mom Syliva Thomas and I.

This is a amazing picture. Please note that my mom and I have the same dress on. We had simular tastes and didn't realize we had bought the same dress. I saved her dress and put it away for safe keeping.

She went back to school to get her High School Diploma in 2004 after all those years. On this special day, the whole family watch her walk on stage to get her Diploma.
What an inspiration to us all and for all the students! She finished something she started a long time again and we were proud of all her hard work.

I miss my mom every day.
I do the "Relay for Life" in memory of her but also for all your moms, sister, daughters out there!
