Powerful People
What is the Purpose of this web site?
It is my passion and goal to teach people to “Reach for the Stars” through personal development. I am here to tell you: “there is greatness in all of us and it is up to us to tap into that greatness”. I am acting more like a tour guide directing you to the best of the best resources. I have been on my own journey and through many trial and errors I have reached many successes and have been guided and directed to many wonderful mentors. It is my mission to direct you to some really powerful people and resources so you can tap into your greatness!
One of my phenomenal mentors and friend Susan Sly introduced me to a beautiful and powerful poem. The author is Marianne Williamson, from her 1992 book, "Return to Love" (p. 165) but was so powerful that it was quoted by Nelson Mandela's 1994 inaugural address.
Let Your Light Shine
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

This is huge and it makes me feel special every time I read it, which was the purpose of Susan Sly; to assist her friends to see their value. She looked into each of our eyes with such passion and conviction and asked the question; do you want to “play large so you can serve the world”. We are to serve and with our combined efforts we will be able to reach and teach many people to shine. We together can make a difference!
Do me a favour and copy this poem, print it of and place in a beautiful frame and set up in your office as a constant reminder. Everyday take a moment to do a check; are you playing large?

This site contains lots of free personal development information to assist you with every avenue of your life, health and business and I am adding personal development articles daily. I love to do research and spending hours looking up valuable information to save you time to do what you do best.
